Shauna Mayben is a Tasmanian
artist working with jewellery as a medium.

Shauna completed her Masters with Distinction in Fine Art and Design at the University of South Australia 2006 and completed a two year intensive Associateship at the Jam Factory Contemporary Craft and Design.

In 2010 Shauna Mayben won the Bricolage Design Prize for environmentally sustainable products. Shauna prides herself in using 100% recycled silver, and upcycling Industrial off cuts, diverting materials from landfill and making wearable pieces that don’t cost the earth.

Shauna truly believes in an ethical and environmentally responsible practice. Implementing all aspects of this philosophy from production to finish is vital to the ethical integrity of her work and to the sustainability of the trade.
